Love This Game, However Improvements Are Needed
First and foremost know that I have been playing this game for quite some time, and have actually put real dollars towards it to help open up the gameplay within a more reasonable timeframe. After having completed all missions I began focusing on squad compilation for PVP. At present I operate 3 competitive squads for PVP and one squad for Completionist missions so that I can have a flexible, customizable squad without messing with my PVP squads.
This all being said I have noticed, as others have, that there is an abundance of diversity in the game but you wouldnt know this because the majority of "competitive" players utilize the same concoction of units over and over again. Blade Maiden, Dark Prince, The Creation, etc. Throw in a dash of Lambkin aura and you have a squad that is good, yes, but incredible overused. It becomes bothersome facing the same units in the same order game after game after game. This frustration is even more pronounced since A) once youve complete the short PVE, aside from brief spats in the Daily Missions and such, PVP is all there is to the game, and B) for those of us who resemble a Timmy/Johnny player (Magic: The Gathering reference) it grows annoying facing a never-ending flow of Spikes. There are, of course, plenty of ways to work around this seemingly lopsided usage of such a plethora of units, but its a problem so obvious that I could not leave it all unsaid. This issue, along with how incredibly expensive the IAPs are and, of course, the glitches, are the 3 issues I have with this game. Other than that I thoroughly enjoy it.
